In the fall, 2003, and in the spring, 2004, two small teams went to a poor rural area in China.  We met a need by conducting an English Conversation program for the local Chinese middle and high school English teachers. God blessed us with friendships with the people there.  As part of these trips, we also visited a prosperous urban area.  In the urban area, we saw different opportunities to serve in China, and prayed for various needs.  We plan on deepening our friendships by additional trips in the fall, 2004, and summer, 2005.

Our prayer is that we demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit at all times, and thereby communicate the Good News by our actions. (Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”)

Additional Prayer Requests:

  • Spiritual awakening in China
  • Establishing long term friendships with our teacher-students and the local people.
  • The Holy Spirit will lead us in sharing Christ’s love
